In celebration of light and the imperfections of the handmade, alternative process explores photo based image making beyond the traditional darkroom print or contemporary digital image. Incorporating historical and alternative processes, I came to alternative process through my love of painting and drawing; finding an approach to picture making that combined light and pigment. These processes include cyanotype, anthotype, salt printing, and camera-less silver processes.
